About this product
Mirolac Digest is a partially hydrolysed protein and low-lactose formula for infants from birth onwards. Its stated purpose is to serve as an adapted milk formula for feeding infants in cases of deficiency or absence of breast milk.
Partial hydrolysis breaks the protein into smaller fragments before it ever reaches your baby, and the lactose content is kept low. Together they make the formula easily digested — the reason Evomed positions Mirolac Digest against gas, colic, constipation and flatulence, protein allergy, abdominal distension and diarrhoea.
Digestive comfort is the headline, but Mirolac Digest is a complete formula underneath it: macro and micronutrients that support growth and development, provide energy and build strong tissues; prebiotics and probiotics, DHA, ARA and choline for gut health; and essential amino acids for growth and development.

Clinical notes
The protein component is one in which serum proteins prevail, at 60%. Nucleotides are included to stimulate maturation of the immune system and to improve the growth and development of the intestinal mucosa.
Linoleic and alpha-linolenic fatty acids are supplied in an optimum ratio, positively affecting the child's brain and body development, and a complex carbohydrate component is included for improvement of digestion and assimilation. The formula carries a full range of vitamins, macronutrients and micronutrients necessary for optimal growth and development.
