About this product
Some babies bring milk back up after almost every feed. Mirolac AR is Evomed's answer to that: an anti-reflux formula for infants from birth onwards, built on a unique blend of nutrients and rice starch.
The rice starch helps thicken the formula, and a thicker feed is less inclined to come back up — reducing regurgitation and spit-up, and making feeding times more comfortable for babies. It stays easy to digest and gentle on tummies while it does so.
Comfort is only half the brief. Mirolac AR provides the macro and micronutrients that support growth and development, provide energy and build strong tissues, together with prebiotics and probiotics, DHA, ARA and choline for gut health and overall healthy growth.
Directions for use
Follow the preparation and feeding instructions printed on the pack, measuring the powder with the scoop supplied.
Prepare each feed fresh. If your baby's regurgitation is frequent, forceful or accompanied by poor weight gain, speak to your paediatrician before continuing.
Clinical notes
Thickening is the mechanism Evomed describes for Mirolac AR: rice starch increases the viscosity of the prepared feed, which reduces regurgitation and spit-up.
The formula also carries prebiotics and probiotics, DHA, ARA and choline, which Evomed identifies as beneficial for gut health and for overall healthy growth and development.
